About these terms

This website is operated by Maya Shipping Ltd ("Maya Shipping", "we", "us"), registered in England & Wales (Company No. 11735396), registered office 210 Church Road, Regent 88, London, E10 7JQ. By using this website you accept these terms. They are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Using this website

The information here is general guidance about our sea freight services. We keep it as accurate as we can, but it may change without notice and we don't warrant that it is complete or error-free. Transit times, routes, container details and any prices shown are indicative only, not an offer or a binding quotation.

Quotes, bookings and services

Any quote we give is an estimate based on the information provided at the time, and is normally valid for 28 days. Rates can move with carrier pricing, fuel costs, currency and available space. A binding contract is formed only when we confirm a booking with you in writing.

We ship full-container loads (FCL) by sea only; we do not carry perishable goods. Scrap metal and green-list recyclable waste are carried under applicable export compliance; other hazardous goods (including flammable liquids and gases, aerosols, lithium batteries and similarly restricted items) are not carried unless agreed with you in writing. Customs clearance is arranged and managed through trusted partners. Each shipment may be subject to separate written terms agreed with you, and to the conditions of the carriers and partners involved.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for giving us accurate and complete information about your cargo, for ensuring the goods are legal to export and import, and for providing correct documentation. Unless we have agreed otherwise with you in writing, you confirm the goods are not perishable or otherwise restricted, and that any scrap metal or recyclable waste is correctly classified and declared.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our liability for a shipment is limited to the extent set out in the contract and any trading conditions that apply to it.

Intellectual property

The content, design and logo on this website belong to Maya Shipping Ltd and may not be copied or reused without our permission. Where we link to other websites, we are not responsible for their content.
