What we collect

When you submit a quote request or contact us, we collect:

• your name and (if given) company name;
• your contact details, email and phone number;
• the shipment details you provide, origin, destination, what you're shipping, weights and dimensions, and any notes you add.

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies on this site.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, prepare and discuss your quote, and arrange your shipment if you go ahead. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and, where you have submitted the form, your consent. We do not use your details for marketing without asking you first.

Who can see it

Your details are handled by the operator dealing with your shipment. Where your shipment needs it, we share only the necessary information with the trusted partners who arrange customs clearance and carriage. We never sell your data or share it for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry only as long as needed to handle it and to meet any legal or accounting obligations that follow from a shipment. After that, we delete it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. To do any of these, email info@mayafreight.com and we'll action it.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
